RIP: Dom DeLuise

It seems to be the week of depressing posts, but actor Dom DeLuise passed away today at 75-years-old.

I knew his work mostly through Mel Brooks’ movies. He played memorable characters such as Buddy Bizarre in Blazing Saddles and Emperor Nero in History of the World Part 1. Even his voice acting like in Fivel’s American Tail and Spaceballs was a brilliance one only sees every lifetime.

The world lost an acting great and a comedic genius today. He will be missed.
