It’s good to know my neighborhood is safe, except for April 7. For some reason, this day was Lakeview attempt to be a criminal day. There were attempted forcible burglaries, thefts, vandalism and assaults and batteries. For those of you who don’t know, assault is threatening negative action on a person and battery is doing it. The earliest crime before then was Jan. 11 and who can forget the serial rapist a couple years ago. Upperclass living leads to upperclass crimes. More people will talk about hurting you in my neighborhood than will actually hurt you and if they try to steal something, most ultimately fail. Yay for criminal intelligence.
